I don't think he's particularly wealthy, but from what I've read she's got equally horrible opinions.
I consider a million dollars to be wealthy.
That's bare minimum retirement money, bare minimum. $1M ain't even rich, let alone wealthy.

You can't make direct comparisons like that countries vary greatly on cost of living and other factors.

You're living comfortably off less than 40k a year (the most you can sustainably withdraw without risking the principle)?
If so, good for you.for figuring that out. If not, it's time to figure out how far money actually goes.
