It’s being sold as something each country can spin up and generate wealth from otherwise no longer wealth generating land.

It is even worse then that as that is some of the most productive farmland in the world.

Oh yeah that's awful but I'm sure it's not as much profit as they feel they can get from it. It's weird that food is now seen as less vital than profits to some people. I guess that they assume someone else will take care of it.
