Trump is watching Fox News. Newsom is being interviewed and he's trying super-hard to gain at least a tiny bit of right-wing cred.
Newsom: "I will arrest and imprison homeless people. Law and order must be maintained."
Trump tells an aide - "You know what? I just got a real, real good idea. Make a post 'Law and order must be maintained. Very, very big reveal tomorrow.' "
The aide says "What is the big reveal?"
"I will arrest and imprison Newsome people."
"You will arrest and imprison Newsome?"
"THAT'S WHAT I SAID! I WILL ARREST AND IMPRISON NEWSOME PEOPLE!"
The aide needs to leave the room ASAP because Trump is dangerous in this state. "My battery is dying. I'll be right back." He hurries away and leaves.
Trump is alone. To the screen in a small, childlike voice he says "I will arrest and imprison Newsome people." He's drooling a little in anticipation.
