MODERATORS
I think Nicotine has a stimulant effect, so there is that. Other than that, yea, the marketing devils get to them.
There also is a big social aspect of taking smoke breaks together.
You can simply take the break and socialize without the smoking part.
In theory, but that's not really how humans work.
The marketing to get the first puff, then the nicotine to keep you hooked.
