So, I've gotten a couple messages/reports about this post being not anime. I concede that this is strictly true, but in the past we have tacitly allowed some posts that are pretty anime-adjacent to remain standing. There are previous posts about the One Piece live action show that have remained standing in this community with active discussions, so I am allowing this one to stay. This is similar to the recent post about a Peruvian animated show that isn't strictly anime by the community's rules, but it's close enough that I decided to let the trailer stay up so that people can check it out.

If posts about this adaptation are too frequent, or if I get a big backlash about this, then things might change going forward. However, it is difficult to deny the tremendous impact and reach that One Piece has had on the medium of anime (and manga), so I completely understand that there is likely to be a high degree of intersection between anime fans and live action One Piece fans. So, an occasional post with a big PV or news item I think is fine. I would not allow something like episode discussions.

As always, I am open to feedback (please keep it civil). So, feel free to reach out to me or hitagi either here in the comments or privately.
