I was at a PD presentation today and then later on had a look at the Other Place (using my phone), and up popped an ad for the very specific thing the PD was about.
I didn’t google anything related to the topic, and only used my phone to check messages a couple of times.
That was a little too much of a coincidence. Bloody technology, snooping on me. Very creepy indeed.
They say the apps don't need to use your microphone to listen in and present you ads but this sort of thing happens far too often.
One time my girlfriend showed me something on her phone and I started getting ads on mine. Either they're listening or they're scanning faces and delivering ads to known friends
