At what point tho do we just step back and realize that reality tends to lean left? Honestly. Like are people that think murder is bad just following the doctrine of some political ideology or did everybody just kind of agree that murder is bad naturally? This whole thing where any educational institution is a brainwashing machine and all cities where intellectuals tend to congregate are brainwashing centers and any organization that tends tends to think certain things is automatically a cultish radical political regime... It's exhausting.
At some point you just have to acknowledge that people start learning stuff and realizing pretty much on their own that stuff is generally bad and other stuff is generally good. I'm so sick of this hiding behind "well there's just no way little Timmy could ever have come up with this idea that all people should be treated with respect and love on his own. He's clearly been the victim of hardcore brainwashing effort."
I know this is unoriginal, but it is 100% correct: every conservative accusation is really a confession. MAGAts are part of a brainwashed cultish radical political organization, so they assume everyone else is.
The left figured that out a while ago, but the powerful few on the right figured out how to shift the US further and further right over time via bribes and "news" media (who are also bribed to push a narrative).
Turns out when you allow people to have that kind of power (in this case via wealth), they will do everything they can to seize as much power as they can, because power is like a drug to sociopaths who want to control people.
So we need to prevent that kind of power from ever being obtained. I like the idea to force all corporations to become worker-owned coops (which will also abolish the stock market as only the workers can own stocks of their company), to have a hard wealth cap of $50m, and to provide all basic necessities to everyone free of charge, paid for by taxdollars. This would also have the effect of removing the reserve army of labor (homeless people) by making them (and everyone else) more comfortable and less desparate, so people won't be reliant on wages to simply survive.
If we had a family member or a neighbor who obsessively hoarded dozens of cats, or filled up rooms with newspapers and pizza boxes, or kept putting busted up cars in the backyard, we would have them mentally evaluated.
But if they hoard wealth beyond what they or their descendants could ever spend, they are considered successful businesspeople to be respected, admired, and emulated. In reality, they are out-of-control hoarders, and the first thing that needs to happen is to remove the item that is the focus of their OCD - their money.
