The point isn't the US economy. The point is stockmarket manipulation to get Trump and his friends more money.

I don't know. People give him a lot of credit. I think he's just really really stupid and "tarriffs" is just the new word he picked up. Suddenly it's all tarriffs.

I would have thought so too but there is video footage of him saying that he likes a tanked economy so that he can buy it all up. He was also found tweeting hours before an announcement as a dog whistle for his buddies to buy up certain stock before the bounce back. It seems quite blatant to me.
