Yep its a shadow drop. Out now on steam at least. No idea if its any good or not. At least the gfx are shiny. Never cared much for Oblivion back in the day. (Prefered Morrowind and Skyrim) but I might give this a try one day.

At least its going to feel like a whole new game for me if I get to it, since I played it so little back when I first tried it.

I've been meaning to ask. Is this community okay with piracy? Desperately need space to discuss stuff but it's been hard to find

pirate-jammin piracy is awesome and we encourage it unless you have the means to not do it (but also do it anyway because money is best spent elsewhere)

Microsoft (who owns Bethesda) is on the BDS boycott list, so piracy is the correct move

Fuck the screm-aaaaa space and support cool indies if you can.

That's why the money is best spent elsewhere (stealing groceries)

Great! My current setup of Linux+Piracy has been hard to find support and community for. Glad to see at least the major part of the issue is a non issue here.

Shoutout to the one user who told me that suggesting people should switch to Linux was ableist lmao.

I managed to install Linux and i look at computers like they're magic half of the time.

I really enjoyed my Linux setup (up until I realized that Ubuntu was really sucking and I needed to start over). Dunno what's the slickest way to make pirated stuff work but I was using portproton back then

Ohh I found one. There's a Linux repacker who does script installers that you just have to download and run. And it even creates an application shortcut. No other tweaking necessary as long as you're using a distro that's pretty up to date.

The downside is that there's very few seeds so downloads might be slow. And since it's one person, they don't keep around all the games they've done, so when I get older games I sometimes have to just let the torrent be active in the background for some random seeder to show up days later.

The name is LinuxRulez.

Oh theres Linux repacks now?! Amazing. I'm mostly steamdeck now but if I can ever upgrade my PC I'll be looking into this

Edit: or I guess the next time I wanna pirate on steamdeck lol

Love to hear it. I've been pirating pretty much everything for the past year and been hard to find discussions and community.

this instance has more people who pirate than not
