Catching up on my 1001 Albums to listen to before you die list....and I could really do with much less Tom Waits.
I get music is subjective, and I can see how his stuff is appealing...but critically acclaimed?
Music critics need to get their shit together.

I liked his album Real Gone so I grabbed a bestof and pretty much hated the whole thing.
Just finished listening to Rain Dogs. I didn't hate it, but didn't love it.
Happy to skip any future albums that may be recommended.
CW Stoneking is much better.
