So when the SC gives this the green light, that's still not an Official Constitutional Crisis™ about which something must be done, by democrat reckoning, right? Since the executive won't be disobeying the judiciary? Even though that establishes the precedent than literally anyone in the country can be sent to another country's prison at any time for no reason. So I expect a lot of
in that case.
But if the supreme court says "you have to bring him back", and the executive doesn't, then it's an Official Constitutional Crisis™.
Or what if it's "you have to bring him back" but the dude's already dead? Guess we'd have another round of lawsuits or something since the original ones would like lose standing or whatever (I do not know courts)
Anyway, anyone who hasn't given their guns a good thorough cleaning and function check recently probably should.
I think I know what the dems will do - whatever the GOP justices do. The dems will say they are deeply worried. And... that's it.
