It doesn't help that Schumer's term goes on until 2029 so the only way to primary him is to issue a recall. It's going to be a rough decade.

Schumer is a crypto republican... How is DNC still permit him in the party?!

The political landscape changed a lot faster than he did. He used to be a guy who could get people from both sides to cooperate to pass legislation, but since 2016 things have become such that cooperating with the conservatives is sometimes literally criminal.
