China is in the news all the time, last time I checked they were dealing with floods.
The bourgeois press lied to me about Iraq and Vietnam, but surely they are telling the truth about China, a country I have never been to and know nothing about! Marvel at my extreme intelligence, fellow redditors!
He's saying that you've never verified anything you've seen from western news on this subject, but you know they promote incomplete or outright false views in similar circumstances, so why would you uncritically accept their views on China?
"I know what the news tells me about China is true because it's in the news all the time" is a really funny response ngl.
