Why didn't this happen in 2014 when Russians were already deep into their illegal invasion? Why did it take almost half a decade for you Europeans to help your fucking neighbor who needed it since the very beginning?
I can only assume you are getting downvoted by Russian agents or something, it's beyond valid to wonder why Europe didn't care when it was time to care and only cares now that the shit has truly hit the fan.
Because the United States was too busy acting like it was the savior of the world. Other countries relied on that and alliances in order to be able to let up the gas on their own military endeavors.
Unfortunately the United States has now shown that it cannot be relied on and is nothing less than a liability.
Better late than never.
United States is that one once really attractive athletic and popular teenager who peaked during their late teenage years and now is a morbidly obese adult loser acting as if those times are still happening.
Disappointingly accurate
The best time to help Ukraine was 2014. The second best time is now. If you want to discuss 2014, start your own thread.
This comment is weak and trumpish.
Fuck Trump, he is an orange micro-dick dumb fuck. Europe is pitifully impotent pacifists and also pathetically hesitant in helping nearby allies. Both can be true.
And therefore the OBVIOUS solution is to criticize increased support. Duh.
No, you're correct. I'm just mad it took this long to help out Ukraine.
:)
What makes the comment weak and trumpish? They bring up a good point in that Europe has delayed this level of support until now. Why did they wait so long on something so important when that level of support earlier on could've prevented Russia from daring to push further? Is that not the purpose of having Ukraine join NATO, to give a security guarantee that would stop Russia from even thinking of invading in the future? Yes, the support now is good, but we have to look at the situation critically to understand how we can do better in the future.
Why couldn't you read more than two comments deep?
You mean the comment where you went on a complete nonsequitur? They didn't criticize assisting Ukraine, they criticized the fact that they didn't aide Ukraine.
Speaking of being too lazy to read the full context before you comment:

Oh, look, OP admitting he was out of pocket a full day before you decided to stick your head in.
Also? Don't use terms you don't understand. It's embarrassing for everyone else to have to see it.
No one has admitted anything and i haven't used a single term incorrectly, is English not your first language?

I'll take that as a no
