I spent like an hour trying to raise my fishing and got .4 gains off it and like 3 fish. How tf you make money off this?

There was no limit in the past I think, maybe they rewarded you for zoning (which bots could easily solve) but honestly it's hard to remember, and like a lot of early ffxi system it was very nebulous. Everquest was just a stupid slog because the devs only cared about translating DnD, which was fun in it's own ways lol
