The Posthumous Memoirs of Bras Cuba's, a Brazilian masterpiece apparently
What do you think so far? Read it a while back and had such a fun time. Felt surprisingly modern (almost postmodern) for something written in the 19th century.
I just started it yesterday and am digging it so far. A coworker recommended it to me because I was talking about how much I liked Tristam Shandy
Now that's a book I've had lying on my shelf for ages! I was actually told to read it because I loved Bras Cubas. Guess they're a good pair.
