Everyone's at peak shaved monkey touchiness (to quote pratchett) 'cos it absolutely fucking sucks. It's insane.

Don't be quiet. Let people know you're there for them. Let them know you don't think this is ok. Let them know you think it sucks and you hope there are better days ahead - but yeah, be aware that platitudes can sound so, so hollow right now.
