I get so pissed off when I am looking for information on a topic and the first 2-3 items I click on and start reading end up being some AI generated article that has all the cadence and syntax of an informative article, but just goes in circles and it takes me a few minutes to realize the article is going nowhere. it makes me hate all the tech associates with "AI" all over again.
it completely degrades the value of search engines, indexing and the way we were trained to do research.
so now we're back to skimming for trusted sources and institutions to cut out the garbage sifting, and I don't even want to know what comes after all those platforms are enshittified.
if somebody invented an adaptive way to cut through, the shit, they would be heroes.
