I've got some disappointing news: toasters have been shrinkflated. I bought a cheapy from Kmart which looks identical to the cheapy from Kmart at the last place, but is apparently a newer model. My bread no longer fits. Not 'doesn't fit' as in too chonky, doesn't fit as in it sticks out the top and requires rotation to stop about a quarter of it coming out raw. It's only cheap woolies bread. It isn't anything fancy

And that’s with the bread shrinkflating too

The one good thing about stupidly undersized GF bread?? Never found a loaf that could fit a jaffle iron

That’s what a panini/sandwich press is for. But that makes it hard with baked bean, bolognese or spaghetti jaffles

You don't get the true volcanic cheese experience if you can't seal the edges fully.

Jaffle maker solves those problems!

Yes, the point was GF bread is usually too small to fit the jaffle maker
