"political correctness" to me is nebulous, they've been using that line for 30 years or more now. What they mean is, marginalized LGBT+ people should be written off in their politics.
It's WAY worse than that, the implication is that "political correctness" is not actually correct, and the correct/natural/default position is to be racist/white supremacist/homophobic/transphobic, and these have to be disguised purely for the purpose of being politically savory.
So if you aren't being racist you aren't being correct - you're being politically correct.
Yes it's absolutely ghoulish.
Women sports part points not writing off, but actively embracing republican positions.
Look, they made their career in blue, but now that they're (financially) successful; they're following their passions.
