I just got a wild hair up my ass to start playing this series again. Started with the second one as I remember the early to mid game of the first to be rough. I'm playing on a Retroid Pocket 2, I found my PS Vita to be uncomfortable on longer plays (+20mins).

I'd say if you have the chance to emulate this, do yourself a favor and play with joy stick capabilities.

My uncle randomly bought legacy of Goku 2 for me when it came out; I was a bit too young to fully beat it so I remember him helping me out with the fights with cell. Buus fury is the one I dumped a ton of time into; I remember being blown away that you could fly around the map. A lot of time was spent on gamefaqs trying to figure out how to get more zeni and level up my characters. Just incredible games, I've been wanting to replay them too! Still have my og copy of buus fury which I'm so happy about.

I'm excited to get into Buus Fury, but I also wanted to beat the breaks off of Cell first lol

Buus Fury is the one I spent most of my time in too. These games really are the gold standard of DBZ on Gameboy. I remember the first time I got to use Gotenks and Trunks was absolute hype. I wish I never got rid of my Gameboy advance collection. GBA is the perfect platform for these kind of games. The recent DBZ Kakarot pales in comparison.
