so many guns and nobody can just cobble together a righteous people's militia to bully the cops into letting them take the life sustaining water

they will absolutely fold to a dozen semi-disciplined (majority WHITE, hey white people here's your time to shine) people with ARs. don't need to fire a shot.

communication systems are down, just wear masks in case you get IDed for lethal retaliation later

true but when you're weak from thirst and hunger it might be easier to pull a trigger vs engage in close quarters combat or throw objects
