That's true. There is more genuine discussion on Lemmy than on any other platform. Facebook is completely devoid of anything meaningful these days, and reddit isn't too far behind for everything except niche communities. Unfortunately Lemmy doesn't have enough people or content for me to just stick to my niche communities like I do on Reddit, so I see a whole lot more doomerism, and political outrage here, despite my extensive block list.
