In this analogy isn't Harris the spare? We tried Trump, he sucked. We tried Biden, he sucked less--we thought about driving another 4 years on him, but ultimately decided we should replace him too. So we pulled out Harris as the potential replacement.
I would not go that far.
What makes Harris different from Biden.
