Reminder that if it's true that these folks are "veteran spec ops", then it's 99% surety that they are war criminals who did some absolutely heinous CW-worthy deeds in Iraq and Afghanistan.
There's some :chefs-kiss: reddit posts in those threads from these clowns crying about not being on the side with air superiority, technical advantage, a full modern military, etc. and expecting that they were gonna go to Ukraine basically as advisers, patrolmen, run recon missions, etc, not be missile fodder. Like they thought it was gonna be like an American in Afghanistan!

They probably can't even speak Russian or Ukrainian and can't read Cyrillic, how are they going to advise the Ukrainian military lmao
First order of business is to teach local troops how to speak a proper language, English. Plus, the dumb Russians won't be able to understand transmissions in English and it's easier to distinguish the enemy.
Yeah now that they're on the other side of a modern military they don't actually want to fight a war.
