Not really. It’s fame seeking. He wanted attention or to commit suicide by cop. It could’ve been anyone important.
Got any evidence?
Not the person you asked, and I don't agree with the person you asked, however the article does mention some circumstantial evidence.
Crooks was researching depression disorder which suggests he may very well have been depressed which could suggest suicidal. Since he was looking up information about both candidates, it suggests he was less concerned about which candidate shot as he was with which offered the better opportunity for success. Recent assassinations and attempted assassinations have involved shooters that were not acting out of a desire for political change, but for some other reason. Take Reagan's shooter, John Hinckley, for example. He shot Reagan because he thought it would impress Jodie Foster and she'd fall in love with him. Or former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's shooter who killed him over a grudge he had against the church Abe was associated with.
It is clearly too soon to say what his motive was, and we may never really know. It is also far to soon to dismiss any reasonable motive until there is evidence to do so.
Would the government release information about it being for political change, if it was?
If he had written a suicide note calling for action, would the government ever let us read it?
does a web search of Trump and Biden suggest is wasn’t political because two parties were searched?
does being depressed and wanting to die in a way that would be noticed automatically make it not motivated by politics?
IMO: No, to all the above.
Unless a non-biased party comes in to document this, with full access, I’m never going to fully trust what the government says about him. Regardless of the political party in charge, none of them really want this to start being a thing that happens regularly.
No evidence of planned suicide.
