I googled him for you, he's a dude in a random 1994 rock band, the band is probably most famous for having a movie almost 2 decades ago. He made several single-episode appearances in a small number of random tv shows. Very obscure niche minor celebrity.

He's a well-known part of Jack Black's band, Tenacious D, which definitely isn't niche. They go back and forth saying each other's names during many of their songs.

maybe in 2006 when their movie came out, these days that's a "what? who?" unless you're really into their niche. Most people don't know the names of band members of bands they don't personally follow and have never knowingly heard one of their songs.
