To the people who are calling Biden "toast" three minutes into the debate: Fuck off.
First impressions matter. Most people won't watch the debate. Of the people that do, most people won't watch all of it. He isn't doing a good job.
It sounds like trump won. And that is enough sadly. Its over for the country.
Yup checkmate. America was a good experiemnt while it lasted.
Trump is literally insulting him to his face and all he can do is look old and stupid. Fuck this.
Coming up next: 40 years of dystopian Fascism. This is going to suck so much for people still in their 20's. My advice is to start organizing the Resistance RIGHT NOW. I am absolutely stunned to see the most successful country in the world completely collapse in a single day.
Not in a single day by a long shot - this has been decades in the making.
It was bad.
He's given one bad answer. His first answer and responses were good. A sore throat isn't a reason to declare his candidacy over.
I tapped out 10 minutes into it. I just couldn't take it anymore. I'm sure I'm not the only one. And let me tell you, those first 10 minutes looked BAD
I've since learned that Biden warmed up after that first ten minutes, so I went back and watched some of it, and it's true. His performance was never great, but he did ok and got in a few solid hits.
I think he's old, he's tired, the format sucked, and he's not my first choice... But I'll still vote for him over the orange felon.
