Voice training question:

How do you find voice models to emulate? All of the trans voice training women have these really cute, clear, beautiful femme voices, but it's really not at all what I want.

I hardly want to increase my pitch at all, really. Just gotta hone in on that resonance. It would be easier if I had a model tho

    For me, it was finding a listening to music and interviews by women whose work you enjoy. I have often been drawn to women with lower voices, and it definitely helped with voice training.

    For instance, a few artists I adore named Emma Ruth Rundle and Julie Byrne have rather โ€˜lowโ€™ pitched speaking voices.

    Thanks, that's a great idea!

    I have a ton of women singers I like who I think are in the lower range.

    Only other advice is make it fun. :) I love music and did so much voice training practice singing along to artists whose voices I love in my car.
