No, we are, you were correct about that one. We aren't federated with most other large instances, though. Lemmy.world, lemm.ee, etc.
Your sentiment was correct. Hexbear, Lemmy.ml and Lemmygrad make up what the rest of lemmy would call the "tankie block."
Lemmy.ml was the only one to be filled with liberals because of the reddit exodus.
