Transcript of what Tim Pool says

Many of the news organizations that are represented in this room have marched in lockstep on false narratives, such as: the Very Fine People Hoax, the Covington Smear, and now what is being called the Maryland Man Hoax.

Where, an MS-13 gang member adjudicated by 2 different judges is simply being referred to as a Maryland Man over and over again. Now in an effort for the White House to expand access to new companies, you've created this new media seat.

So following this expansion, you've had numerous outlets disparage the companies you've had sit here. I'm wondering if you can comment on the unprofessional behavior, as well as if there are any plans to expand access to new companies.

The Trump administration has been platforming Patty Morin to say that immigrants should be deported without due process.

The children of murdered Maryland mother Rachel Morin are suing their own family members, claiming they have not received any money from crowdfunding efforts, according to our media partners at The Baltimore Banner.

Morin was found murdered in August 2023, along the Ma & Pa Trail in Harford County.

A GoFundMe page to pay for Morin's funeral and support her children raised tens of thousands of dollars. However, in a lawsuit filed in the Harford County Circuit Court, the children said they have yet to see any of that money, the Banner reported.

According to the Banner, the lawsuit says Morin's children, between the ages of 8 and 19, also have not received any proceeds from four restaurant fundraisers held on their behalf.

The lawsuit alleges Morin's mother, Patty, and sister, Rebekah, have kept the money for themselves.

Basically:-

  1. Complains that Marx is just too obscure/complicated for his liberal know-nothing peabrain. (in a earlier version of the article, lets slip that he's definitely lying about having read anything written by Marx)
  2. Gets a "Babby's First Marxist Analysis" explanation of economic class contradiction from Ken Loach, and immediately thinks he's completely disproven Marx by asking "what about Premier League footballers though?".
  3. References an LSE/BBC study about class in Britain that that places crude social and cultural signifiers on equal standing with a deliberate misunderstanding of economic relations - apparently, your economic class has all to do with your income level, whether you're a homeowner, and your savings, and nothing at all to do with how you earn a living - and acts surprised when it makes him feel confused about his own class position. And this is after he already admits earlier in the article that judging class through "superficial markers" is "prejudice and almost certainly wrong".
  4. Gets a slightly more in-depth explanation of the Marxist conception of the petit-bourgeoisie, and how petit-bourgeois people like him are increasingly being proletarianised by neoliberalism, but then dismisses the entire idea because being petit-bourgeois is not as romantic as being working class, and because it makes him feel "parasitic".

“They shouldn’t be bemoaning their situation, they should be looking at the world and saying, ‘What can I make of it? What can I do better than the folks before me?’”

It’s true that Gen Z is concerned about their financial welfare in 2025, but data suggests that many of their fears will be relatively short-lived.

For example, Gen Zers (people born between 1997 and 2012) say they are having to turn down job opportunities because they can’t afford commuting expenses and have decided to focus on their pets in lieu of having children because kids have become too expensive to raise.

In addition, they’re abandoning their dreams of owning a home soon—unless they believe they’ll receive an inheritance soon.

This cash-strapped present may prove a contrast to their wealthy future, however, with the Great Wealth Transfer estimated to trickle around $84 trillion from the baby boomer and silent generations to their younger relatives.

Indeed, the shift will be so great that millennials are expected to be the wealthiest generation in history in the coming two decades.

Good news. When the old people die, you will all be rich.
