I love how ridiculous the situation looks now.

This editor takes Heathcliff comics and then replaces the text with comments from Pornhub.

It's completely automated so they're not always winners, but occasionally you get a good one.

They look so happy, don't they? The clip art people. The ones having drinks by the pool in your travel brochure. The ones looking at paperwork in the middle of your insurance pamphlet. The little children hitting a piñata in your "Blunt Force Trauma Monthly" newsletter.

Don't be fooled. There's a story to tell in every one. Tim Crist of Worm Quartet and Rob Balder of Erfworld bring you the twisted, hilarious world behind every scene in PartiallyClips, a clip-art comic which has been seen in more than two dozen alternative weekly newspapers around the country. You'll never look at church bake sale ads the same way again.

The idea here was to riff on stock clip art to create funny edits. PartiallyClips ran from 2002 to 2015, and was popular enough to appear in roughly 25 newspapers and magazines. More info at WP.

IMO the 'constrained comic' format tends to bring out good writing and humor, but it also suffers from a bit of tedium, in that it's the same imagery being repeated in every panel. Oh well, there's still some good stuff to enjoy if you don't mind that limitation...

There's a whole series of these wacky things, and IMO this is one of the better ones.
