I had a quick view at this post : https://www.reddit.com/r/radeon/comments/157qa6c/rx_6600_or_rx_6700_xt_for_1080p/

It seems to me that 6700xt is much stronger than 6600. More expensive, too. Personally, I would pay some extra money 6700xt, but it depends on OP's budget and game preference.

I'd suggest OP to consider several factors:

  1. Is the game you're playing CPU-intensive? aka Will your 3600X be the bottleneck if you have a powerful GPU?
  2. Do you have a 4K/1440p monitor?

I would definitely pay for the game Concord, just for its brand.

If the sub title is Sony Flight Simulator

At least 90% of the memes and jokes are unrelated to the game, just no brain copy paste. That’s really annoying.

I like game-related memes, but they’re really hard to find now

Thank you for your assistance. Maybe it's just a temporary network issue. Let me attach my browser info to see if anyone else have similar problems.

I was trying to create a community with id=til_about_computer_science name=TIL about Computer Science

However, everytime I click "Create", there was no response.

The console log says

Response rate_limit_error

Do I just need to wait for a while?

Besides, there was no UI on the webpage telling me what was wrong

3rd final

It's not the perfect result we expected for Can vs Uruguay. We had about 10 minutes leading but they caught up in the final minutes. Anyway, we should be cheering for this historical 4th place.

KDE Connect: https://kdeconnect.kde.org/

I also use Resilio Sync. It's not open source software, but it's self-hosted https://www.resilio.com/

There are also open source sync services, like nextcloud or syncthing

Well, this is my first time hearing Betterbird

After reading their feature table https://www.betterbird.eu/#featuretable I think they have a really laudable goal.

I'd suggest to check the feature table first. If there is anything you concern, you pick Betterbird. Otherwise, you can choose one randomly :)

This is annoying, while there are a few things we can do

  1. Report this issue at https://webcompat.com/
  2. Change UA to trick this website https://addons.mozilla.org/en-CA/firefox/addon/user-agent-string-switcher/
  3. Best choice, change another store :)

Their DNS was down. I tried to ping 67.71.255.204 and it was not connectable. I also tried some ping tools, showing that this IP was not accessible from all over the world.

Some performance-extensive games may also work better on PS5. As OP doesn't plan to build a gaming PC, I think a PS5 could improve the experience of lots of new games.

"just browse the internet" doesn't indicate that you don't need a powerful computer in 2023. Modern browsers are really heavy - and rendering websites are much more complex now.

Unless you're really frugal about your PC budget, I think it's definitely "to-go" for 32G

I’m a bit baffled that some people still use HDDs considering how cheap SSDs have gotten. You can get a 2TB M.2 for around $100. If you’ve got the specs for new games, there’s no excuse.

I don't know why you got some downvotes. Buying an SSD to store the latest games is much more cheaper than buying a GPU. If one already has a powerful GPU, I don't know why they consider an SSD "not affordable"

I was trying to reply a post at [email protected] : https://lemmy.ca/post/1127818 , origins from https://lemmy.world/post/1020538

When I clicked "Reply", the little circle on the button had been spinning and never finished.

I refreshed the page, and no surprise, my reply was not posted successfully.

Similar issues has been happening to me in the last few months, and now I finally wrote my issue report.

Is this issue due to our site or their site?

Hi,

I'm new to CFL, and I wonder if there is an option to watch CFL games online?

Any suggestions for subscription plan?

Thank you.

A dumb question here: Due to job duty change, I need to be back to office a few months later. My office is not close to subway station, so I'm thinking of riding a bicycle. I have never done that before in Toronto, and I have several doubts

  1. Is riding the bicycle along Yonge St. (Davisville Ave to Dundas) safe? Is there a separated bike lane?
  2. Can I still ride in winter? How uncomfortable it would be for riding 5 km?
  3. Furthermore, in winter, will the bike lane be used for dumping snow? (it happens in some cities)
  4. Is there an online guide or book for newbies like me?

Thank you for your tolerance to my questions

I had played Diablo II when I was young. I'm not a big Diablo fan, but I'm attracted by this new release, and I'm interested to play with my friends.

I can't decide that I should buy a PS5 version or PC version. Here are some pros and cons I'm thinking about.

  • I don't have a powerful gaming PC yet. Before I made my decision of a new PC build, I may need to play with low quality graph (EDIT: I already have a PS5).
  • I could buy a pre-owned PS5 Disc, which is cheaper. If I don't like it, I could trade-in the disc.
  • I don't have a PS membership right now. I know I missed one promotion in early June. Is the membership necessary for playing Diablo IV?
  • If I need to organize my backpack, will keyboard&mouse be more convenient than controller?
  • I have a Steam Deck and I want to use it for some causal play. Proton or PS Remote Play, which works better?

Thank you for all your suggestions.

EDIT: Considering the suggestion by @[email protected], I've purchased the PS5 version so we could enjoy the game together in the living room. We also confirmed that, without PS+, it's okay to play solo.
