Weird, this mention didn't show up in my notifications.

Good context. It'd take one hell of a boycott to impact global sales. AB is huge.

A lot of people on social media are acting like this boycott didn't work. It totally did. Love it or hate it, it worked.

I don't know how Corona did, but Bud Light does appear to be struggling. https://www.nytimes.com/2023/06/29/business/bud-light-sales.html

Yeah, deleted RIF early and just pretend it doesn't exist. I'll probably use it if a useful answer pops up on Google, but not for scrolling.

Lemmy and Threads will have to fill the gap for now, but if they grow I don't see a problem at all.

I've heard that cited in stories, usually older. A baby dies and they blame someone leaving the door open too long and letting in a draft.

It's subtle, but I only use just enough to pop the kernels. I also have a jar of it by the stove most of the time.

Never tried Ghee. I usually use canola, coconut, or bacon grease. I'm up for more buttery flavor though. Thanks!

The beatings will continue until morale improves. You WILL behave for the shareholders.

The rescue would be miraculous. So, no. Sadly.

Pretty tame by addict standards.

It's definitely a wait and see situation. My Reddit account is gone, so if Lemmy continues to grow I see no reason why I'd go back. If Lemmy dies, then obviously I wouldn't have anywhere else to go.

It was probably the extreme surge in popularity. Sustaining hate for something so innocuous is difficult long-term, so people lost interest. My son and I started in season 2, and he still plays with his friends. It's a phenomenal social game.

That's my guess anyway.
