Ich sage ja nicht, dass man nicht kompromissbereit sein sollte, aber die SPD erscheint immer ihre eigenen "Werte" (was auch immer davon übrig ist) zu verraten und der Mehrheitsbeschaffer der Union zu sein.

I'm sorry to say this, but this is survivorship bias. We produced plenty of crap that broke a few months after use even 50 years ago, it's just that you don't notice the crap because it was thrown away after it broke and all you see now is the stuff that surprisingly made it for decades. That's not to say that enshittification and planned obsolescence is not a thing, it's just not as extreme and "we used to build things that lasted" as people would like to believe.
Anecdotally, for me biking with studded tires on an icy road feels more comfortable and grippy than biking in autumn on wet leafs. It's crazy how much of a difference studded tires make in these conditions and how easy it is to adapt to them.

We've had this technology for decades already. Trains / Buses for transportation, local bikes, solar and wind power for electricity. Sure, this wasn't 100% carbon neutral and still is not, but we've had the opportunity to heavily reduce our fossil fuel dependence for decades without compromising on lifestyle.
In all of this Mercedes had some mechanical problems as well. Russel DNFed twice so far through no fault of his own and scored no points in Monaco because of the arguably faulty pitlane speeding measurement and subsequent penalties that shouldn't have been applied. Antonelli didn't score twice due to mechanical failures.
Hamilton is super consistent in scoring high-to-mid point finishes, but if Mercedes irons out their mechanical problems they are going to win both driver's and constructors championship this year.
