Here in Melbourne, Australia - the diesel price is currently the equivalent of $8.60 USD / gallon ($2.65AUD / litre).

The launch PS3 was probably the peak of Somy giving the customers what they wanted; full hardware backwards compatibility with PS1/PS2 titles, affordable Blu-Ray player, built-in and upgradable HDD, heap of standardised IO options.
