I'm having a hard time being mad at Mozilla for this kind of thing. Which privacy minded person installs an application and doesn't go through the settings to find all of the privacy minded features and disables those they don't agree with? Do we not "Trust but verify" all the things because of these kinds of options that pop up? Who is at fault here, the application or the user?

We, as users, need to start taking our own settings on our systems more seriously and stop dumping all of our responsibility into the hands of someone else. Go through the settings of your apps. Save them so you can get to them when needed. Disable everything you can or want. Don't trust it until you've done the necessary research and tested it for yourself.

Man, it's going to have a good time recalling all of those homescreen screenshots that I keep accidentally making because I can never remember if the power options are on the Power+VolumeUp or Power+VolumeDown combination.

It's a free wifi service provided by the airline while on the flight. One ad, when most other places are charging $10-20 per flight? I'll watch the single ad. I'd rather that then someone, say, injecting adverts into sites and services. which is very possible.

Most people already have the number, the point I make in asking is to show them that I don't need to be their messenger. You can call my mother/father/grandmother yourself. If they're asking about my wife/kids, I'll just say "Sure" and then forget because I'm apparently a goldfish. Most people who say "Tell them hi" are my parent's and grandparent's friends anyway. I don't give out a true friend's number, I agree that is not good.

I did until mobile phones became the norm, now I ask if they need her number to call. It made sense before phones were everywhere and you didn't make it to see everyone, but send a text yourself. My name isn't SMS.

I'm not sure any judge would want to deal with someone who doesn't understand the difference between individual and commercial. All of these I've seen deal with fighting their ability to drive a vehicle or child-support, so if it's related to that the judge wasn't getting puckered.
