Hi,

I am looking for a Jellyfin client app that will continue streaming audiobooks when the iPad screen is locked.

So far I have tried:

Jellyfin Mobile - This will stream the audiobook but once the screen is locked it stops.

Finamp - this does not recognise or find audiobooks specifically, it seems to only look for a "Music" library in particular.

Phyn - I'm not sure if this works or not as it requires you to pay for it's premium version before it will play an audiobook.

I am aware that the Jellyfin Mobile app has an option to keep the screen awake, however this is not what I am looking for as I want to be able to lock the screen.

Additional bit of info, the Jellyfin server has the Bookshelf plugin installed and I have added the audiobooks per the recommended file structure in the Bookshelf docs.

Would love to know if there's a way to make this work. If not, then my follow-up scenario would be to find out if there is an iPad app that will play .m4b files locally that allows you to the lock the screen (i.e. transfer files from Jellyfin server to iPad local storage and play directly instead).

I purchased a LED strip light kit. It came with the controller and power bank.

Unfortunately I am struggling trying to figure out how to power them on. The LED strips have two wires, a red and a black. One side of the controller has four little slots where I think the red and black wires are supposed to connect (but might be wrong). If they are supposed to connect there, I don't know which of the four they should be connecting to.

And then for the power, the power bank has a normal round looking connector (a lot like a laptop charger connector), but the controller doesn't have a connector for it. The power bank came with this small adapter thing with the green block on it that looks similar to another green thing on the controller but I have no idea how any of it is supposed to join up.

Any help or advice would be hugely appreciated.

Hi, hope this is the right place to ask for help.

I've just moved into a new place and it needs a new shower screen. I'm trying to figure out how to replace it. My understanding is that there are two parts, the screen itself, and the fixture that's attached to the wall.

I think the fixture itself needs replacing as it looks like the part at the bottom has maybe snapped or become damaged. There were 4x screws running along the length of the fixture on the inside that I have removed, however removing those screws doesn't appear to have done anything, and nothing feels any looser, so not really sure what they were doing to begin with.

Assuming I need a new fixture, how do I remove this one first, and/or what tools would I need?
