Dude like even 6 months ago Id read your post and would think alright man c'mon..

But now you are 100% right it's getting tough and people will only realize when it's too late. Imagine a far right government with palantir in Europe. That's pretty much where we are heading and I try my best to get any of my data away from this sphere of influence

If you can afford and are not relying on games get a mac. I mean it's still US but it is soooo much better and less enshitticated than windows. Regarding Google you can switch to a European cloud use duckduckgo or stuff for search, there are plenty foss alternatives to maps and for YouTube you can check out grayjay. It's a bit tedious but it's possible and as convenient as big tech products

That's probably the worst post I've seen all year. And that on 27.12... respect!

I use those platforms to promote and sell my own music or buy music for my DJ Sets. But I agree conventional streaming is dogshit for artists!

I recently deleted all my us-based accounts (except SoundCloud and bandcamp) to migrate to European services. Soo reddit is gone and it feels like it's way better here

For me 32h/week is fine. Sweet spot would be at 24h/week but that's pretty unrealistic if you want to pay your bills.
