OT: got a job selling tires and I’m really happy to say theres no AI as far as I’ve seen so far. Big relief.
(I get to see all kinds of cars - a Rivan of all things showed up my first day - and I’m learning stuff I can apply to being an RMT. I gotta say I’m pretty content).
OT: paying the cat tax…again. Please ignore the ash on Hector’s head, its an ongoing mystery where thats been coming from.
OT: He’s gone. Last thing he saw was my face and then there was no more pain. His veins had all collapsed (vet had to inject the phenobarb into the liver), so I was right to bring him in when I did.
OT: My truck got rear ended today, and then my cat had breathing difficulties when I got home…he’s under oxygen at the university clinic right now and its probably cancer instead of pneumonia. Just feeling totally destroyed rn.

Tires are actually more interesting than you would expect. I really love hearing customer opinions on how they perform in actual use.
Also we get a real mix of vehicles at the shop. I’ve seen multiple Mercedes and even a Rivian!
(I’m also the last seasonal employee left standing/got a month long extension as apparently I’m good at this?!?! I’m going to have like a year of unemployment to draw on for RMT school when this ends so I’m pretty happy. Not going to lie, its kinda stressful but I’m actually enjoying being challenged for once).
