Last time I had a convo where compromise was brought up it was over minimum wage. Dude said that "both sides just need to compromise on it." And I was like you know that that compromise is somewhere between an actual living wage and literally $0, right?

If you haven't been tainted by the mechanical keyboard hobby, be aware.

I started with a TKL with Outemu blue switches just to see what the hype was about, then moved to Anne Pro 2 with Gat browns.

Ortholinear made sense so I got an XD75 followed my a Planck after getting curious about 40% boards.

Now I make my own from printed PCBs and soldering, custom programmable firmware, and my own custom key map.

I now use a split column staggered 34 key board with hand dyed keycaps and custom aftermarket switches.

I own 7 boards now and have plans for at least 2 more and a partial split for gaming.

It looks like a drawing my 5yo would do if I asked him to draw a truck.

There is a certain elegance to comments from 14 year olds that just learned how to combine words to make softball insults.

I'm actually working through some thoughts on how to even explain that there is bad and good in these systems. But unless you have a good understanding of history, theory, or even dialectics(which I don't quite yet) it's really tough to do without resorting to whataboitism. At least for me it is. A common point that I see brought up on the left, and I think it's a good argument, but when the black book of communism number of 1 gorbillian dead get brought up, you can easily argue that you can calculate 100 million excessive deaths every 10 years in the US as a counterpoint but I think we can all agree that excessive deaths are bad regardless. Well unless they are fascists of course.

There will only be one banana and everyone will have to share.

Bonus: If you are in possession of the People's Banana and the People's Toothbrush at the same time you get on free spin on the magic prize wheel.

Remember, when you see someone shoplifting, no you didn't.

I was just gonna say that this has to be an urban segregation thing. Our Walmarts where I am at are mostly in predominately white neighborhoods. We don't have anything really behind glass except tobacco. Meanwhile our PoC dominant neighborhoods have barred windows on their gas stations and liquor stores. These are also coincidentally the most underfunded neighborhoods. Yet our Walmarts are by half a million dollar homes. It's by design but I think that is preaching to the choir. Solidarity for my PoC comrades.:(
