Physicists abhor a black box. So long as it is an option, most will choose not to use AI to any great extent, and will chastise those who do.

Yeah, imagine if the air brakes failed on a transport truck and instead of them defaulting to on, they no longer worked...
Or if your Anti-lock braking system defaulted to no brakes instead of brakes without Anti-lock
Or if the power goes out an elevator just falls to the ground
Or if.....
Fyi, your seatbelt buckle should be able to smash a window in an emergency
Much more likely to be because their wages will be less artificially inflated once the number of doctors increases. Its the same in Canada. We limit the number of seats, rather than admitting all those who qualify to be doctors, and we have need for.
Gotta love bringing everything into the market....
So the real news is someone thinks they have discovered how to extract rent from you taking photos?
Ohh that's like how I focused on my schooling instead of getting drunk because I wasn't old enough to drink! Makes sense to me.
I could see maybe getting it implemented outside the federal level, but in all honesty the slow change in culture that would develop from a new voting method wouldn't be nearly enough to make the gigantic changes required, even if we are talking about keeping America capitalist.
If there were larger organizing efforts, much like that required to get ranked choice implemented, which had ranked choice as one of the demands, then yeah I could see big changes happen.
Fewer and fewer all the time, western propaganda regurgitater. China has been cracking down on the leeches (Billionaires) in their country.
It seems perfectly normal that a person who "can't" vote is able to be president and would be a testament to the efficacy of the prison rehabilitation process. I mean truly, someone having sunk so low yet determined to better themselves and turn their life around so much, pulling themselves up by the bootstraps and becoming president!? That is quite an inspirational story if you ask me.
I'm curious to see what he will do too. There is little by way of administration he can't do this time around, and the only barrier, if he goes full ham, will be the civil unrest.
But it's likely that the changes which will negatively affect people will happen relatively slowly to minimize the unrest, as has always been the case with either party.
I hope for the best for all of you, and make sure you get organized
Honestly I am very impressed by the thoroughness of the post too.
Tbh, there are a few Western talking points used against China, USSR (still), etc., and while I think it rare, anyone on the left (socialist, communist, anti-imperialist for sure) who is dedicated to fighting these points (which yogthos clearly is) likely has a list of references squirreled away somewhere to use. Maybe a research paper, blog post, or video essay was published by yogthos, at which point they would definitely have these ready.
Back to the "genocide", its also suspicious that the focus of state/corporate media in the west would be so focused on this "one" in particular, while ignoring all of the ongoing atrocities in and by western states. To me, it is far more likely that trying to pin a genocide on China (the empires new enemy I guess) is just a way to manufacture consent for tariffs, trade wars, real war. It is the American Way™ after all.
