The hell is that title supposed to mean? Nauseous Leaf?

they meant gender, I think 🤔

My (maybe controversial) theory is that software engineering is a deeply creative and self-expressive field, more closely related to art and literature than to the "hard" sciences. But it has the clear upside that it isn't stigmatized like Art & Literature, so getting into it isn't met with the same amount of scrutiny & criticism, especially for people who present in a masculine way.

I do have a snake scarf planned in the near future! :D The general idea is to either do minimalist Color blocking in my snake's color scheme ( Chocolate, Latte and Ivory, with that distinct dorsal stripe she has ) or, if I find a nicely fitting background color, a mostly accurate depiction of her looped around an infinity scarf ^^

(ironically, I don't program in Python, never quite liked the syntax. I'm a gross JavaScript/React Developer instead lol)

Yoo that's pretty cool! Bottom-Up component management is definitely something I've wished for (and may or may not have implemented) several times when working with React haha

Which other social media services do you mean?

Does your instance have a bio? Maybe you could use that? On my instance, the character limit for the bio is 300 chars, that should probably be plenty :o

edit: Another option might be to get a hexbear account? I know they're pretty good with the built-in pronoun selection, but they are defederated from many places so that might affect your user experience

Yooo me too! Moths freak me out more, but butterflies are pretty close. I usually just hide under a big blanket whenever a moth makes it into my apartment and let my husband handle it, but he recently moved out for work. I only cry a little bit when I have to confront them myself 😎

I also can't stand Jellyfish to such a degree that I refuse to go into any open water. Even stuff like lakes and Rivers, which probably don't have Jellyfish, but the idea just freaks me out too much.

After some more research, I think that might be it ^^ It does look a lot like rat fuzzys do, although I've never seen one this big. Actually I've never seen one at all, because I only got my snake at a size where the 20-30g rats I got were all in the "weaned" age group.. and now I'm on the 30-50g bag and they're larger but younger somehow?

Guess these rats were just born really big for some reason lol. Kind of a shame, that coat is really cool, kinda reminds me of Shar-Pei dogs

man i wish it was summer already

I'm most cozy at an air temp of like 30°C :( It barely ever gets this hot here in Germany

Yup, exactly! So a calculation-only module that doesn't have a frontend would never have any TS Code in my case.

The classification of language -> task makes sense! I'm thinking of the weird college courses that wanted Java frontends lol

But how would you generalize that for a resume? Say you've used C# both for making backends and making frontends in separate projects. Would any sort of classification make sense in that case?
