Terrifying. That's the bar?

I wonder if anyone has ever talked about how difficult it is to challenge capitalist imperatives while capitalists own all the factories and their supply chains.

This is pointless. Even if she was aggressive and tried to kill this man, she'd be right to. This should not be able whether this Nazi felt in danger, they should feel threatened when they attack communities or random people. This video shows that peace is not an option with them. Consequences for chuds reduces their numbers significantly, they scatter when they realize they could actually get hurt.

They're going to claim that people are trying to kill them anyway. Might as well stop them from lying and create some real consequences for these Nazis. I've seen so many videos of them surrounded by crowds, it wouldn't take much.

Wow, a whole unionized and competent studio now free to pursue internally chosen productions? I sure hope they don't get some of those "Canadian Heritage" media subsidies. Seriously though this is the shit the state should be funding, it'd be a shame to have this kind of resource squandered.

Jfc how are people still talking about generations?

Exasperation, not a genuine question ^

Jfc how convenient to have a narrative that paints the US as a fundamentally pure society that is only violent when corrupted by foreign powers. The USA is an empire. It has always fucking done this, every president before this man has done this, none of it is surprising or exceptionally brutal for a fundamentally violent system.

I bet a bunch of people who read this and thought it wasn't pro-imperialist propaganda hadn't even thought of indigenous American nations as sovereign nations that USAmericans have invaded and inflicted genocide against for centuries. This isn't even the fourth time the US has inflicted its interests on a Latin American country through military action.

The USA is evil.

This is why graduate student and teaching assistant unions exist. I'd dare this student to contest a zero on a paper that is flatout plagiarism.

Straight up, it would be mortally dangerous for federal US reps to bailout tech. The industry is wildly unpopular, has openly threatened labourers with forced redundancy, polluted and\or poisoned vulnerable communities, and houses some of the most famous billionaires in the country. This is not an industry that thousands of blue-collar workers depend on for wages and produces products that people need to survive. Also, the US state is subject to the most open resistance and condemnation it has had since the Civil Rights Era (even privileged groups find the erasure of wealth disparity appealing now too).

Seriously, I think if this were to happen, it would result in violent retaliation.

Consumers are not the main driver of profit, speculative value is. Microsoft knows that Windows is guaranteed to be on the majority of PC's, which means they can afford to implement hostile features that increase the speculative value on data collection and AI investment.

We really have to start talking about the reality that capitalists will never concede or negotiate. The more real this becomes, the more the privleged people will convince themselves that it is too late to change and therefore it is a fight for survival. Settler-colonialism and imperialism are are very good at generating rationalities for brutal violence and genocidal narratives have emerged from far less dire circumstances. You think it's a coincidence that doomer narratives appeared in the metropole once the effects of climate change became undeniable?

Climate change mitigation is a death threat to capitalism. There is no world where they coexist as a capitalist system will never accept the material constraints of our world and will seek to dominate any alternative in its imperative for infinite growth. Liberals will always choose a dead world over a living one because their entire way of life needs to construct the world as an object to extract from. When they lie and say they want change, they hope that it will buy them enough time for the genocide to be acceptable in metropole.
