"i don't think whoever gets to win, or to lose, nor whoever wins or loses, will win. Or lose. Everybody's going to lose." - Rousseff, Dilma. When getting couped out of Brazilian presidency.

It's out of context, but one of my favourite quotes ever. I've never seen it translated.

It's fake, but it's fun.

O projeto é bonito. A música... Tem espaço pra melhorar. Mas é foda ver a base se desenvolvendo, sabe?

Because I never understood the difference quite well enough.

I'm reading the murderbot series and the light bringer series. And about to start the latest on the bobiverse. At some point I want to go back to Asimov's.

You can probably see a pattern there.

Surprising!

Sounds like bullshit.

Something similar could be said about hamas' flood operation. That it achieved nothing (much), other than zionists fury.

Hopefully his sacrifice, from his own in-empire position, could get some political traction? Unlikely, but not impossible, I think.

Edit: in parenthesis

I have stupidly linked Hasan thinking of Hakim. Sorry about the mistake!

Also, it looks like a similar strategy to US heads of state meeting with representatives of Taiwan.

I like this kind of diplomacy, from China. It's flipping the logic completely. Very fun to watch.

If China is exporting capitalists to the world, it doesn't surprise me that people won't like Chinese capitalists too.

Is this the borderline hatespeech people complain about, from us?

Barely sounds like a call for violence... Even if the imagery it invokes in the brain is uncomfortable.

[-] [email protected] 22 points 2 years ago

I have to finish playing it, don't I?

[-] [email protected] 21 points 2 years ago

Yes. "common sense" is the repetition of dominant ideology. They can bang on "common sense" and destroy things. We have to deconstruct common sense so. That we can build the future.

Definitely better than god, homeland, family. And freedom, more recently.

Most technology, programming languages and frameworks feel just the same, in a professional environment. Majority of web and apps is so simple that literally anything will do. Simple api consumption, simple database crud stuff. The tech stack doesn't matter that much.

I understand your rage. Just please, try to push your knowledge a little deeper.

Not all white individuals are colonialists, and I'm not a white person, by the way.

Some individuals, sure, white, I'd give it to you, did describe it. But those individual intellectuals were the counter-thinkers to white colonialists. Would you agree with me about it?

Scapegoats are always different. And the individuals directing the public opinion, the people you just called colonialists, we, here, at lemmygrad, call capitalists. They are the same. The rich minority, controlling the means of productions and the public opinion thought the media they control, creating escape goats, one at a time. That's one of the products of fascism. The capitalists are just above it, seeding and using fascism against the minorities your mention.

Fascism is stupidity and ignorance. The capitalists are the brains behind it, using it to their advantage.

We hate the same people, me and you, we just call them different names. But you don't have to, they have been the same for a good while, let's just agree with a precise definition and terminology to avoid raging at the abstract.

Rage at the specific! It's hard, that's why we write so much! And that's why we call them capitalists.
