Buy 3 dog beds?

[–] [email protected] 4 points 10 hours ago (2 children)

Well, if you have a cat and 2 dogs, you can't just buy the dogs new beds and not give an equal nice one to your cat

That was to be expected, that the cat will take (at least) one of the new beds

Thanks! :-)

I'm not sure, if I can follow

Aren't the dependencies for the app (hopefully - as it's the same code) completely the same, no matter how I install it?

With GitHub (apk releases) the only difference would be, that you'll need to keep an eye on updates yourself

Or do I miss something here?

Hehe

I'm using yay, because it was "the new thing", when I switched to Arch (and Arch-based systems)

But after that I've stopped comparing

Is there anything new, that is actually worth switching from yay?

You'll feel the cold much more.

But after some time, the stomach adapts and you don't really feel that much hunger anymore.

Just can be, that you produce a Gastritis, because the stomach wants to dissolve something and after some time it's itself.

Also, muscles will be used, after fat, and you lose weight in a not nice way.

It's (imho) also really hard to get back to regularly eating normal meals.

After a few weeks of stress and not eating much (last week was like 1.5 sandwiches the whole week), I needed quite some time to be able to process a real meal again.
I would eat a few bites, get the sweats and want to puke.

But the was a bit of an extreme case - at least on countries without famine...

Do nothing but sleep in the bed?

Oh, 'cmon!
My wife won't be happy about that.
She really likes to cuddle and play with the cat in there

So, no NATO state can act on its own? Oo

I don't think that's the case.

Also, shooting down missiles isn't an act of aggression. So I'm not sure if that really would escalate that much

And all of us use Linux, while wearing UNIX socks

[–] [email protected] 1 points 2 days ago

Yeah, here too

We moved to this apartment quite some years ago. The first two years we absolutely weren't expecting anyone, because in our country/city it's quite unusual for children to go 'trick or treat'-ing

At least in the second year I managed to have some things and just gave all the sweets away we had fire ourselves.

This year, I was really looking forward to it.
TV said Halloween costumes were sold 3 times more than last years and I prepared with a nice mix of sweets.

Absolutely no one showed up...

Ok, were in a housing complex with many assistants and usually kids go to houses and not flats.
Still, was a bit of a bummer

Well, at least I've got some sweets now...

Why does Poland has to ask for the permission of the US to shoot down missiles in their neighbour country, which would be fine by it?

What has the the US even to say about that?

Even considering a NATO thing, Poland is still able to act as they see reasonable.

I'm really not sure what to make of this and am asking myself mostly wtf?, or if I've just missed something of a geopolitical agreement here, that I haven't known of.

Yeah, South African embassy will probably get some nice upgrades

Win - win ?

Hi all!

It seems I'm just too stupid to set the preferred/required languages in Sonarr/Radarr.

I'd like to have English, if German is not available - or maybe just a version with both.

I've looked through the trash guides and setup a custom format. But shouldn't that already trigger re-downloads for my stuff or do I need to activate this custom profile somehow?

Sorry, but after paying around for some time, I feel pretty much lost...

Thanks for every hint and help!

Have never seen those bugs before. A whole bunch of them on our only tomato surviver this year.

This is in Austria, if that helps.

Thanks!!

had some trouble figuring out how strike through works, so I need to play around a bit

~~test~~

~~how about whole paragraphs?
next line as well

next paragraph~~

~~maybe just single lines?~~

it seems, when there is a load issue for the comments of a post, I'm just getting shown the comments of the previously opened post.

Which is pretty confusing ;-)

anyone else or is it just me?

well, ironically I try to solve this with creating a post. but also my profile shows, that I never created any posts. not sure if this is a Sopuli issue :-\

is it just me?

edit: ok, at least at Sopuli/local it's working. strange thing

not sure if this will be a double post - somehow my first try didn't show up

preface: it seems pictures made with the Pixel 7 Pro aren't shown correctly as an image post, but only in the post body or comment, when inserted.

as it seems that it's not the file size, I've now cleaned the meta data from the image with 'exiftool -all=remove'

edit: surprisingly that didn't work. here the link to the uploaded image:
https://sopuli.xyz/pictrs/image/19621e35-1354-4e68-816e-f5b44a663495.jpeg

as changing the exif data didn't help, I try to find a upper size limit of the file

shared the image through 'Scrambled EXIF'

ok, that seems to not work...

seems pictures from my Pixel 7 Pro don't show correctly on the post header (only works in the body)

this image was run through signal to get some compression and meta data removed - so should work now as well

testing if image gets loaded correctly
