Some people use qr reader apps that show them the contents of the qr code before allowing them to choose to open or not.
It's hard to trust organizations to store digital data (including selfie photos) without leaking. Even without leaks, the data is still has the possibility to be accessed by members of the organization, their vendors and auditors. Will everyone use the data only for the intended purpose? I can't be certain so I'd like to push back on these kind of requirements when I'm able.
I was trying medications to help with depression. I stopped drinking so the alcohol wouldn't interfere. After a few years I stopped trying medications because they only made things worse but I realized I didn't want to drink anymore after going without it for that amount of time.

People that take a bucket to the river for their water don't have to worry about plumbing leaks. Not having to spend time gathering water is worth the time of dealing with plumbing for me. I feel similarly towards having to do surface level vacuuming vs the time of dealing with firewalls.
This is my experience as well. I have no faith in warranties or insurance. If it happens to have a warranty I'm willing to spend only a few minutes trying to redeem then I move on with my life. This led to me spending more time looking for high quality products and companies before purchases which is probably a good thing.

Do all demands have an assumption of violence attached? (do this or I will force something to happen) I am failing to think of ways that demands don't have implied physical violence if they are genuine.
