Both of those are still upgrades though - they didn't say "upgrade the screen to LED". It's a good callout though!

Eternal Sunshine would be on my list for sure, hahah. Such an amazing film. It would also be incredible to listen to Scenes from a Memory or Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence again (two of Dream Theater's best albums). Hard agree with the other person who mentioned Fullmetal Alchemist, too. Good question, OP!

Sorry for the late reply - thanks for the recs! I have read and enjoyed Zelazny so I'll definitely check out the other ones :)

As many of you likely know, the character creator in the benchmark didn't actually feature the new lighting engine, so they're working on an updated version alongside dawntrail itself - pretty huge difference side by side here as seen in the live letter update!

Apparently an updated benchmark tool will be released at the end of the month/beginning of June for people to test out ahead of Dawntrail, with many fixes in tow (including the lala dolphin teeth, lol)

(Hope the attached images work!)

Hello! I saw there was a post here recently that was having an issue interacting with some lemmy.ml content. I'm currently experiencing what may be a similar issue - when I go to vote on a post in https://lemm.ee/c/[email protected] the vote will not register. However, voting does work if I try to do it from an account in another instance. Any idea why this might be the case?

This was the comment I was trying to vote on, if helpful, but the behavior seems to be true for any post in that community today: https://lemmy.world/post/1325978

Was testing on the latest version of Thunder originally and got this error:

I tried again in my desktop browser (Firefox) to confirm it wasn't just a Thunder issue. If it is relevant, I also don't have this community blocked.

Let me know if I can provide any more information!
