The Wii has Super Mario Galaxy and Super Mario Galaxy 2.
There hasn't been a Super Mario Galaxy anywhere else besides the Wii.
The Wii is awesome.

I played Athena then because I liked her design and after seeing her in Tales from the Borderlands. If I ever replay the game I would try the more "out there" option like Claptrap.

Honestly now that I wrote it out I remember TPS maps weren't as fun as BL2's hence me not replaying the game back then.

I finally 100% Arkham Knight after 9 years, completing all the Community Challenges trophies, including Requiem for a Killer challenge (the one where you have to do a 400+-combo in a endless combat challenge to reach and defeat the secret boss).

Think I'm gonna install Red Dead Redemption 2 next. Finished RDR for the first time last year and wanna finish the sequel, which I started a few years back on the PS4 but dropped.

I think some of Asa is bleeding into Yoru, she's feeling what Asa's feeling

Tales from the Borderlands is the best Borderlands game, and it's a shame that they even screwed that game's characters up in Borderlands 3

Amazing game. Short and sweet, story to the point, combat is absurdly fun, right amount of side-content to not be overwhelming.
I don't find Akame points lacking, by the end game I got sufficient points for full skill upgrades, buying all Akame shop items beside Ichiban crackers, and just grind some easy Completion items to reach Lvl 30.

The Coliseum is chaotic and fun, and I love that all characters are playable (to varying degree).

Booted the IW trial up once to check out the map, and it looks absolutely massive. Gonna take my time with that one.

EDIT: #147, oops

New chapter is out, and it was a breeze to read as usual. How will Denji get out of this one?

Imma need cross-play before I join the fray. All my friends play the game on PC.

Completed my first playthrough of FF16 last week. Great experience, although not perfect. It's the opposite of FF15 for me: while 15 gradually narrowed down the openness toward the end to achieve a tight narrative finish, FF16 pacing in the final act really faltered. The penultimate boss is generic religious nutjob spouting generic obedient sentiment compared to the previous personal fights. And they bombarded you with too many side quests right before the final fight, which massacred the pacing. So it's not perfect pacing-wise, but with excellent gameplay and characters, overall I still really enjoy this.

Meanwhile, just started the Burning Shores expansion of HFW. Love how "good" it is to explore the world on the PS5, excited for the future sequel.

Just bought Burning Shores expansion for Horizon FW. Been waiting for it to go on sale for the first time since buying the PS5. Time to experience the next gen version of the game.

Having followed Kiryu from Yakuza 0, this sure looks to be a sad reunion

I think the current discussions on c/ps5 is about PlayStation in general instead of just console exclusive already, I don't think keeping it separate from c/Playstation would foster any diverging discussion environments, and as the communities here are still small-scale, conglomeration would generate much livelier climate and new discussions. So, in favor of joining forces

Bought a PS5 and have been waiting for Burning Shores to go on sale

[SOLVED]

For the Subscribed feed, which includes communities I curated for consumption, sorting by New is acceptable. However, the Local feed and especially the Everything feed are much less controlled and are usually infested with bots and automated posts. For those, I would prefer the sortings of Active or Top.

I think if possible, the app should allow users to set the default sorting differently for each feed. I don't know if this is possible for the app, or if it requires an overall Lemmy configuration, so I'm just throwing it out here for discussion.

One thing I missed on Android 13 that MIUI doesn't have is the ability to edit the copied text in the clipboard before pasting. Is there a way to replicate this function on MIUI? I'm running the MIUI 14 ROM by xiaomi.eu on Poco X5 Pro.

I used Fox's Magisk Module Manager since its beginning, after Magisk shuttered the Module Manager function. It was a great app, perfectly serving my needs.

After the app was transferred to Androidacy I felt like it got worse: more clunky, laggy, non-responsive. I also don't like how Androidacy regularly ask me to subscribe to their Premium tier. I held onto the old app for a while but recently updated to the new app and is quite dissatisfied.

Is this still the best way to find and manage Magisk modules or is there an alternative? Thanks 🙏

Just finished the game on PS3 a few months back, sloughing through the barren multiplayer landscape for the trophies, and then they announced this 🥲 Would be easier access for new players to one of the best game of the previous generation

Marvel's Avengers was a 2020 game developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix Europe. It featured an original story and a roster of Avengers to play as (the game launched with 6 characters, with 5 more added as free update. If you play on PlayStation, you get Spider-Man as an exclusive as well). The gameplay loop is basically a "looter shooter" in which you run mission in a team of maximum 4 characters and get loots to improve your character.

Let's just say that the game didn't perform as well as expected, especially for a property as hot as the Avengers (it was announced at E3 2019, after Endgame's release and the peak of the MCU popularity). It launched as a very poor game-as-a-service, with repetitive gameplay, bugs and lack of content. The characters play great, with very in-depth combat system, but the missions where you play them weren't particularly enticing. Also the microtransactions ('nuff said). While it received many substantial updates and expansion, Crystal Dynamics announced they would shutter support and delist the game from digital sale by September 30, 2023.

It is as the game is about to get delisted that I finally decided to give it a chance. As of now, Avengers features a very meaty campaign and 3 major story expansions. Treating it as a single-player, the game has very fun and generally good writings, and is a chance to play an original Avengers story. There are a total of 11 characters (12 on PlayStation), all of whom features distinct and in-depth gameplay (yes, there are dupes like 2 Hawkeye and 2 Thor but even then they play differently enough). In preparation for the delist, all the cosmetic microtransactions have been unlocked and premium currencies reworked into one, so the game is fully playable solo and offline now. I bought the game on sale for basically dirt cheap and have been thoroughly enjoying my time with it. The story is enjoyable, it's fun to play as an Avenger (my favorite Avenger is Hawkeye, so having 2 of them is a bonus as well), the gameplay is fine enough to have fun, and while I enjoy playing solo, you can still play online with others as well.

While it didn't live up to its ambition as a long-running GaaS (thank god for that) featuring multiple Avengers (slightly sadder, She-Hulk and Captain Marvel were rumored to be in the work, which were canned after the shutdown), I quite enjoy the game for what it is now: a single-player game with co-op components, multiple characters to choose and play, with fun writings and banters, and no microtransaction. It is a perfect okay-game to waste some time in. If anyone overlooked the game before, consider giving it a chance. The game is currently on sale on Steam and PlayStation for very cheap, and probably will again as we approach the delisting.
