I agree it’s shitty, but you can definitely use points and a deal in the same order. I do it all the time. You cannot do 2 deals or 2 point redemptions in the same order.

It had nothing to do with the capacity of the battery. It had to do with providing instantaneous high current when doing something demanding. Old batteries couldn’t do this and voltage would drop to unsustainable levels causing a brown out/black out.

They could easily just get a wifi camera for cheap. I don’t think this business owner is interested in doing things the right way.

What benefits? Publicity sure, but they don’t get tax breaks for collecting donations.

The cable coming out of the battery pack and goes to the wall is standard usb-c. Rather than plugging this usb-c connector into the included wall adapter, you could plug it into a battery that supports usb-c power delivery.
